A recent study found that 1/3rd of groundwater wells in Kewaunee County, Wisconsin did not meet criteria for safe drinking water. Manure spreading operations are suspected. The next phase of the study will utilize DNA fingerprinting to identify the bacteria and attempt to establish a link to a contamination source.
