Milwaukee, WI – July 11, 2017 – Senior executives of four water technology innovators, soon to graduate from the Water Council BREW accelerator, will pitch their companies at Microbe Detectives’ Microbiome Water Summit, to be held at Shedd Aquarium Chicago on September 29, 2017. Within a one-hour water tech innovation discussion, each presenter will pitch their company, targeting prospective commercial and investment partners, and participate in a panel discussion moderated by John Tillotson, CEO of Microbe Detectives and Coach for the BREW Accelerator. The selected participants include:

Douglas Hwang, President
Corncob Inc. is a water purification innovator that is disrupting the economics of centralized wastewater treatment, by enabling economically favorable, de-centralized, wastewater purification and reuse of commercial and industrial wastewater. The plug-and-play water purification solutions make it possible to save money and water by recycling and reusing all water onsite.

Rick Latella, CEO
DMR International is an innovator in novel and safe antimicrobial solutions embedded in plastics such as water sanitizing pellets and coatings for water pipes, tanks and water contact surfaces. The embedded antimicrobial solutions provide disruptive value as compared to conventional disinfection methods such as chlorine and chlorine dioxide.

Tim Marth, VP Business Development
MetaMateria is an innovator in de-centralized nutrient removal strategies, uniquely solving water quality challenges created by non-point sources of nutrient contamination. Non-point sources are the largest contributor to nutrient contamination, resulting in water quality problems such as the toxic algae blooms in Lake Erie.

Bryan Johnson, President
Energy Tech Innovations (ETI) is an innovator in biogas purification, upgrading biogas fuel quality to meet natural gas grade requirements. This purified biogas can be used for transportation fleets. The economics of biogas production is improved by 30%.
